Memorial Day

The day began at 7:30 with Joe taking the kids to set out flags at the veteran grave sites in Hilo with local scout troops.

The day ended with meeting friends at the beach close to home (Malama Ki) for a cookout. The kids played all afternoon in the woods of palms, guys played horse shoes in the sand, and the rest of us enjoyed the sound of the waves and each others company.
